Warehouse Supervisor

Job Purpose:
The Warehouse Supervisor will lead and support the execution of the GMP operations in the Warehouse area, including all associated processes and procedures. 
Duties will include all activities related to receiving materials, material movement across the facility, and shipping processes as well as monitoring warehouse performance and quality standards.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in warehouse operations, to include requisite experience to hire, train and lead all required staff to ensure the efficient flow of materials through the warehouse.

Summary of Key Responsibilities: 
  • Take charge of day-to-day warehouse operations.
  • Keep track of inventory through physical counts and verification against warehousing systems.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations governing materials receipt, handling, storage, and distribution.
  • Collaborate on drafting and revising warehouse policies and procedures and ensure adherence across applicable operations.
  • Lead and direct the work of other employees.
  • Oversee the warehouse safety program and conduct all safety training, ensuring compliance with regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree or at least 4 years of applicable experience as a lead in a GMP warehouse.
  • Strong understanding of GMP compliance requirements, company policies, with the ability to enforce them.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships and communicate with leadership, staff, customers, and vendors.
  • Proficient in software applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Dynamics, or other ERP Systems.
  • Experience in implementation or major ERP upgrades is a plus.
  • The operation of a warehouse supporting a CDMO business is a plus.
  • Previous experience with developing and adhering to department metrics.
